Nobody wants to be paying a 39-year-old Steph Curry $62m after strip-mining their team of draft assets. Too many teams in the #NBA have overpaid their old guys and it's going to drag them all into the abyss competitively.

imo GSW is not trading Steph. Unless he asks for a trade, never happening. Steph minted billions of dollars for that organization. The Chase center doesn't happen if he's not on that team. Paul Pierce was an excellent player but you don't think of his name first when you think Celtics, he's pretty far down that list. Steph is #1 by a long shot. Not even close to a comparison. It's more akin to trading LeBron or Tim Duncan
